Question

Question Posted 11/21/13:
Hello,

I'm interested in the total ADAS scores for all cohorts (ADAS11 and ADAS13 totals from ADAS for ADNI2/GO and from ADASSCORE for ADNI1). Some of the total scores for ADNI1 patients have decimal numbers due to scores with decimals for Q1 (Word Recall).

Please, could you explain why the number of words recalled can result in (for example) 6.33? Was another protocol used?

Thanks in advance,
Kerstin
Response posted 11/21/13 by Melissa Davis:
The ADAS data capture and scoring script was revised between ADNI1 and ADNIGO/ADNI2. The major difference is that in ADNI1 there was greater precision (decimals) for word recall.
