Question

Question Posted 04/25/13:
Is it possible to download all image metadata, independently from the images themselves?

As good as the ADNI image search tool is, it cannot fulfill all needs. So it would be useful to access the data it uses directly in order perform one's own customized queries.

Currently some but not all meta-data is available in the CSV files. More information is available in the xml files that come together with the image downloads, however accessing them currently seems to require to download the actual images.

All that is available! To be a little more specific, I am mostly interested in downloading MRI images, both original and pre-processed.

Here are a few things that are currently missing, from the top of my head:

- Study/Serie IDs
- For pre-processed data, original image id

These make it very difficult to make sure my local copy of ADNI data is up to date without re-downloading everything.
