Question

Question Posted 02/04/23:
Hello
I want to work on early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease by using imaging such as diffusion kurtosis imaging(DKI) and neurite orientation dispersion and density imaging (NODDI) therefore I need at least 3 b-value and 90 diffusion gradient directions
I had trouble finding my answers.
Does ADNI have the data I need?
Response posted 02/05/23 by Rob Reid:
Hello,
ADNI started acquiring scans with >= 100 volumes and b = 0, 500, 1000, and 2000 when simultaneous slice acceleration (multiband) became available in clinical mode. That means Prisma VE11 only at the start of ADNI3, with the eventual addition of multishell for some Philips, other Siemens, and now GE. However, it is very hardware dependent, and there are still some ADNI scanners that only get b = 0 and 1000. You will need to check the number of volumes for each scan.
