Question

Question Posted 04/22/24:
Dear ADNI data providers, I hope this email finds you well. My name is Behnaz Jafari, and I am a PhD student in biomedical engineering at the university of Calgary. I am conducting research on Alzheimer's Disease (AD), specifically focusing on functional MRI (fMRI) and MRI data analysis. I am writing to inquire about the availability of MRI data for patients with AD, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Early MCI (EMCI), Late MCI (LMCI), and Cognitively Normal (CN) individuals in your database. I am particularly interested in accessing MRI scans that were acquired closest in time to the corresponding fMRI scans, as most patients have only one record of fMRI. Could you please provide guidance on how I can search for or access MRI data that meets this criterion? Any assistance or information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.
Response posted 04/22/24 by Danielle:
All MR sequences were obtained during the same session, so in the IDA, you can search for both fMRI and other sequences to get the corresponding images. If you are looking for summaries derived from the fMRI and/or other sequences, you can look on the Study Data page to access data tables related to a specific metric.
