Question Posted 03/02/15:
Recently, I submitted a manuscript in a neurology journal about perfusion SPECT in mild Alzheimer's disease using Neurogam software.
One of the reviewers recommends that we should download PET imaging data from ADNI repository in order to replicate our findings. So I wanted to ask you if it is possible and safe such a comparison (FDG PET and perfusion SPECT) to be done. I'd like to inform you that there is no PET equipment in my dpt.
Response posted 03/02/15 by michael weiner:
What the reviewer is suggesting is that you analyze the ADNI data and compare it with your data. But of course the subjects will be different and it will be difficult to draw definitive conclusions from such a comparison
