I would like to compare cross-sectional and longitudinal MRI data between smokers and non-smokers within the CN and MCI groups. Is there a way to determine how many smokers are in the sample before I request access to the data? Thank you.

Thank you for your question to the ADNI MRI Core.

There is no way to search/filter the MRI data based on this criteria. If this information is available in the subjects clinical data one could download the data and separate manually, but we are not aware if sites have recorded subjects tobacco use and whether or not that is available.
