Proposed Analysis: | We aim to explore biomarkers for distinguishing different mental disorders using the data that you will kindly provide or combing your data with other available data. We will employ multiple-modality imaging data including structure MRI, fMRI, PET and DTI to investigate the potential biomarkers. Clinical data and genetics data are important for our project as well. For analyzing the data, we initially plan to apply the following techniques but may also propose new methods. The possible measures indicating biomarkers will be computed from gray matter concentration and voxel-based morphometry using structure MRI, spatial functional network maps and functional connectivity among brain regions using fMRI or PET, white-matter mapping (e.g., scalar measures and tractography) using DTI, genetic information, as well as the fusion of the above features. In addition, we will also work on classifying and clustering different individual subjects using machine learning techniques and unsupervised (or semi-supervised) methods based on informative features. |
