Proposed Analysis: | I am going to use Machine Learning methods to investigate whether the expansion rate of lateral ventricle volumes (LVV) or change in Hippocampus volume can predict AD. I will use longitudinal MRI scans data from ADNI data-sets. Initially, I create a linear and nonlinear mixed-effect models separately to describe trajectory of regions of interest for each subject and their cohort mixed effect. Next different machine learning methods are applied on the estimated random and fixed parameters by mixed effect models as input features to predict CN, MCI and AD. |
