Proposed Analysis: | In aspects of biology, many studies suggested that the amount of tau deposition is associated with increased risk of neurodegeneration in AD, however, quantitative effects of tau on neurodegeneration in mild-to-moderate stages of AD have been largely unknown due to a spatial-temporal inconsistency between the two measures. The aim of this study is to identify the potential spatial-temporal tau effects on cortical thinning in the early stages of AD by using tau PET and structural MRI via graph-theory based network approach. |
