Proposed Analysis: | I will be measuring levels of functional connectivity among older adults at risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. The data will go towards my PhD thesis. Specifically, I will conducting seed-based analysis, ICA, PCA, and Graph theory. Functional connectivity analysis will be conducted using resting-state fMRI data. I will also be conducting volume based morphometry (VBM) and investigating how both brain structure and amyloid burden may impact levels of functional connectivity and how this then may then impact cognition. I will be controlling for vascular-related risk factors (e.g. smoking, BMI). |
