Proposed Analysis: | I propose to use de-identified data from ADNI to determine how baseline estimated kidney health/function relates to cognitive function trajectory. To do this, I will apply latent class mixed models to longitudinal cognitive function measurements to identify distinct cognitive function trajectories. I will assess how baseline estimated kidney function relates to cognitive trajectory, using conventional methods (bivariate and multivariate regression), in addition to using random forests to model probability of trajectory group membership by baseline estimated kidney function and other baseline demographic and clinical variables. |
