Proposed Analysis: | Using subject-specific longitudinal models, I will be investigating the role of regional neurotransmitter receptor distribution in modulating longitudinal changes in multiple neurobiological processes (neuronal activity, atrophy, amyloid accumulation, etc.) using neuroimaging biomarkers (resting state functional MRI, T1 MRI, PET etc.). Furthermore, I will be relating these receptor-modulated changes to cognitive (using clinical assessments such as MMSE and ADAS), to identify receptor-mediated mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease. |
