Proposed Analysis: | This project aims to provide a MRI-based spatial normalization pipeline to map Alzheimer's patients’ PET images to a standard brain template with brain regions of interest. We hope to offer a user-friendly package in Python at the end. Specifically, the pipeline includes the following steps for each patient: (1) co-register the patient’s PET image to the corresponding T1 MRI by rigid registration; (2) nonlinearly warp the patient’s T1 MRI image to the T1 MRI brain template; (3) use the warp-field of step (2) to transform the co-registered PET image of step (1) to the T1 MRI brain template. |
