| Proposed Analysis: | Classic cardiometabolic risk factors such as hypertension, stroke, diabetes, and hypercholesterolemia all increase the risk of dementia. It would be interesting to know whether the improvements in cardiometabolic risk factors could allow tailored interventions for dementia prevention and if so, whether this association varied by apolipoprotein E (APOE) genotype. |
