| Proposed Analysis: | The research activity aims to design, implement and validate novel eXplainable Deep Learning (XDL) algorithms for processing biosignals and bioimages allowing the discovery of biomarkers useful for the early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases, i.e. Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) or Parkinson’s Disease (PD). To do this, after implementing and validating pipelines for images pre-processing, data will be used to train models, for classification or segmentation purposes, investigate how the model took decision, and analyse such decision in the light of low-level features characterizing the subjects. |
