Most samples in the vcf file have SITE_ID_S_RID, there is an upper case S, that sits in between the site and rid, but some samples, e.g., 041_s_4629, have a lower case s. Why is it so? Also, there is no info for 17 such samples. Where can the info for these samples be found. Help appreciated!

Please change the lowercase \\\"s\\\" to uppercase \\\"S\\\" in the vcf files.
