Proposed Analysis: The segmentation of hippocampus is crucial to diagnose Alzheimer's Disease. While automatic segmentation techniques have been applied rigorously, it is mainly confined to model based and atlas based techniques. These techniques require heavy computation and may not be able to cope with great anatomical variation. In the works, we propose an automatic random walks hippocampus segmentation model. The random walks requires light computation and is insensitive to weak boundary. Then, the accuracy of the proposed model will be assessed by Dice Similarity Index.
