Ongoing Investigations

ADNI data is made available to researchers around the world. As such, there are many active research projects accessing and applying the shared ADNI data. To further encourage Alzheimer’s disease research collaboration, and to help prevent duplicate efforts, the list below shows the specific research focus of the active ADNI investigations. This information is requested annually as a requirement for data access.

Principal Investigator
Principal Investigator's Name: Liana Apostolova
Institution: IU
Department: Neurology
Country:
Proposed Analysis: Structural, functional, ASL and connectomic analyses; amyloid and Tau PET analyses. The goal will be to integrate imaging biomarkers with clinical and fluid biomarker phenotypes and advance our undderstanding about the pathophysiology of AD.
Additional Investigators
Investigator's Name: Tugce Duran
Proposed Analysis: Same as PI - Tugce is a research assistant

Investigator's Name: Meredith Philips
Proposed Analysis: Same as PI - Meredith is a research assistant

Investigator's Name: Eddie Stage
Proposed Analysis: Same as PI - Eddie is a graduate student

Investigator's Name: David Clark
Proposed Analysis: Same as PI - David is a collaborator on her projects

Investigator's Name: Diana Svaldi
Proposed Analysis: I primarily work with neuroimaging biomarkers, both functional (PET, fMRI) and structural (MRI), and seek to relate them to diagnosis as well genetic and neurocognitive biomarkers of dementia. I am currently interested in brain network organization (functional and structural) and its usefulness as a clinical biomarkers of AD. I seek to understand how brain organization changes with disease state; whether it is related to specific genetic risk factors associated with AD; and if it correlates with specific neurocognitive and behavioral biomarkers of AD.

Investigator's Name: Charanaya Muralidharan
Proposed Analysis: Will help my lab execute planned experiments
