| Proposed Analysis: | The Candiphi remote health monitoring platform, based on wearable, non-invasive sensors, is a cost-effective solution that will allow people to live in the comfort of their own homes but still be monitored 24x7 by healthcare facilities. Our first area of focus is on the management and prevention of Type-2 diabetes. We do this by giving people real-time insights into their blood glucose levels and help them lead healthier lifestyles. Machine learning algorithms and AI will predict the risk a person has of contracting diabetes. Our next area of focus is Alzheimer's, wherein we intend to detect the risk a person has of contracting the disease. We intend to use machine learning to analyze MRI scans of the brain and detect signs of MCI that could lead to Azheimer's 9-10 years down the line. To do this, we need access to a lot of data and hence, this request of ADNI. Getting access to this dataset would help our research efforts immeasurably and would help in starting us off on the right foot. |
