Proposed Analysis: | I am an attendee invited to the 2018 Advanced Psychometrics in Cognitive Aging Research Workshop. The theme this year is cognitive reserve. We will be using ADNI data to measure and study cognitive reserve and how it protects against late life cognitive decline associated with diseases of aging. We will be using a variety of data types from ADNI including structural and functional neuroimaging, cognition, independent function, fluid biomarkers, and genetics. Specific projects will a) model dynamic change in reserve and how that moderates brain injury effects on cognitive decline, b) evaluate brain and genetic pathways to cognitive reserve, c) measure functional reserve and evaluate factors that promote functional reserve, d) examine how depression relates to cognitive reserve, and e) evaluate how geographical heterogeneity in residential history influences reserve. |
