Proposed Analysis: | Amyloid PET and CSF show discordant results in ~10-20% of cases, but to date only few isolated case studies with available neuropathologcal data have been published. Our aim is to help us better understand amyloid-beta PET and CSF discordance. We plan to gather a sufficient sample size of patients from different centres with available neuropathology to understand which of the two amyloid biomarkers better correlates to neuropathology, and to study, whether there are any additional findings in neuropathology that could contribute to PET/CSF discordant findings. |
