Proposed Analysis: Dear Sir or Madam My research purpose is to study the GBM's impact on patient's structural and functional brain networks. Our group already obtained patient data with DTI, rfMRI and Structural MRI. For comparison, I would need a age-matched healthy control data set with DTI rfMRI and Structural which are included in this data set. Glioblastoma is a malignant brain tumour type with dismal prognosis. The local control of this disease is challenging due to its infiltrative growth into the normal brain. Understanding the influence of the tumour on brain’s functions is crucial for defining the extent of resection. White matter tracts reconstructed from diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) can imply the structural connectivity between brain regions. Similarly, resting state Functional MRI (rs-fMRI) can imply functional connectivity derived from statistical dependence between brain regions. Using graph theory analysis, structural and functional brain network generated from DTI and rfMRI can be analysed to characterise patients’ brain function. Brain networks generated from healthy controls group would provide a important template for indicating the abnormality of patient's brain networks I would appreciate if you approve my application for data.
