Proposed Analysis: | For WML volume estimation the lesion segmentation toolbox in SPM12 will be used (statistical-modelling.de/lst.html). For grey matter volume and intracranial volume, the T1-weighted images will be segmented in SPM12 to create probability maps for grey matter, white matter and CSF. A custom MATLAB script will be provided to assign the most probable tissue class to each voxel and hence to calculate the volume of each tissue class. Intracranial volume will be calculated as the sum of grey matter, white matter and CSF. |
