| Proposed Analysis: | We have been using MRI guided focused ultrasound, funded by Insightec, to temporarily open the blood brain barrier in early Alzheimer's disease in the hippocampus (NCT03671889). We have a small sample size because of the complexity of the trial and no controls at this point as this is an initial safety trial. We are requesting to use ADNI imaging data as an initial comparison for our Amyloid PET data and resting state fMRI data to measure change pre vs. post focused ultrasound to the hippocampus. |

| Proposed Analysis: | We are part of a small phase II clinical trial (NCT03671889) examining the effects of focused ultrasound on blood brain barrier disruption in Alzheimer's disease. We have used ADNI cognitive measures (MMSE, ADAS-Cog) to examine outcome in our patients and would also like to compare the change over time in our patients on Amyloid PET using ADNI data as a comparison.
