Proposed Analysis: Our research group, the Penn Statistics in Imaging and Visualization Endeavor (PennSIVE), develops novel statistical methods for analysis of biomedical imaging data. We are currently working to develop and apply methods for simultaneous dimension reduction and adjustment for confounding through modifications to principal component analysis. Thus far, simulation studies have shown the generalizability and effectiveness of our methods. We look forward to applying our methods to enhance understanding and interpretation of complex neuroimaging data.
