| Proposed Analysis: | we develop a novel 3D CNN architecture to perform three-way classification between patients with Alzheimer’s disease, patients with mild cognitive impairment, and healthy controls. Our architecture combines different elements (instance normalization, wider layers, and an encoding of the patient’s age) to achieve a significant gain in classification accuracy, demonstrated on completely held-out data and on an independent dataset. |
