Proposed Analysis: | Early detection of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is crucial for improving the quality of life of patients and their families. The goal of this analysis is to develop robust non-invasive early diagnosis methods that reduce the time, cost and accessibility barriers associated with AD diagnosis. We plan to study techniques to improve the performance of deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) trained to detect AD using structural brain MRI scans. 2D and 3D image datasets of dementia from the ADNI dataset will be used to validate our framework performance. |
