| Proposed Analysis: | We plan to do some classification or prognosis prediction based on Alzheimer's metabolomics, genetics/genomics and clinical datasets using R package Lilikoi v2. This project would first transform the metabolite/gene names to the HMDB ids and computes the pathway deregulation score for a given set of metabolites/genes. Then we will select the pathways with the highest significance and do classification based on these selected pathways. We will apply and compare multiple machine learning methods such as Random Forest, SVM, LDA and neural network. If the patient prognosis information is available, we plan to perform prognosis prediction too. |
