Proposed Analysis: | Our proposed use for the ADNI dataset is for testing our automated DICOM to BIDS converter called ezBIDS (https://github.com/brainlife/ezbids). Unlike other BIDS converters, ezBIDS is a cloud-based web converter that requires no command-line programming experience, thus lowering the barrier of entry for having BIDS-compliant datasets. Given the plethora collected in the ADNI dataset, we feel it would be an excellent source of data to ensure the quality of our converter. Furthermore, ezBIDS will be interoperable with brainlife.io and OpenNeuro, thereby expanding the data-sharing capacity of open science, BIDS-compliant data. The ezBIDS team is comprised of myself, Franco Pestilli (UT Austin), and Soichi Hayashi (Indiana University). |
