Proposed Analysis: We want to analyze the aging effects on brain networks using resting-state functional MRI (rsfMRI) data. Various brain-network alterations in patients with neurodegenerative diseases were identified, but limited studies have evaluated the longitudinal changes, which may be early biomarkers. In the first place, longitudinal network changes in healthy older adults are not evident, so even if a network change in the patients will be reported, it will be difficult to determine whether they are due to aging or disease progression. We would like to research longitudinal changes in functional connectivity of motor and cognitive networks in healthy individuals to obtain the data for advancing longitudinal MRI research of the diseases. We are interested in the networks pointed out in neurodegenerative diseases, including the default mode network, executive control network, and basal ganglia.
