| Proposed Analysis: | We are an established research group in Barcelona: https://www.bsc.es/discover-bsc/organisation/scientific-structure/emerging-technologies-artificial-intelligence. Our research group focuses its work on accelerating AI algorithms for different domains: One of our current interests is to scale Reinforcement Learning applications using Supercomputers. As a case study, we will start with the C-MARL algorithm proposed by researchers from Imperial College that uses ADNI images (paper: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2008.08055.pdf). The purpose of our research is to write an article for a conference in the area of High-Performance Computing to show how to accelerate the training of RL models. The paper will show data related to the performance of the program's execution, in no case disclosing raw data from the ADNI dataset (maybe just a snapshot to describe the process, just as Imperial College authors have done in their paper). |
