Proposed Analysis: The Value of Hippocampal MRI Texture Analysis in the Early Diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease Abstract Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is a common chronic disease of the nervous system, which not only damages the patient’s physical and mental health, but also causes a heavy burden on the patient’s family and the entire society. In recent years, as the aging of the population continues to increase, it is almost foreseeable that the number of patients suffering from AD will continue to increase, which also highlights new challenges for clinical diagnosis. Mild cognitive impairment (Mid Cognitive Impairment, MCI) is the precursor stage of AD. Some forms of mild cognitive impairment will remain stable over time and will not develop into AD, while some forms of MCI will gradually transform into AD. If patients with a high risk of AD conversion can be predicted in the MCI stage, and positive medical interventions can be implemented on them, it will be possible to effectively delay the rate of their conversion to AD. However, the differences in the clinical manifestations of these two types of MCI patients are not obvious, and the structural changes of the brain are also difficult to directly identify with the naked eye, and the technology based on texture analysis may have the ability to discover potential AD conversion factors.
