Proposed Analysis: | Minorities and Alzheimer’s disease: Understanding differences in CDR scores. The goals of the proposed research are to explore whether there are potential racial/ethnic differences in CDR scores in individuals from different racial/ethnic backgrounds. We want to investigate how CDR global and per domains scores differ between White and African American participants. In addition, we would like to examine through an intersectional approach how race/ethnicity, gender, and education moderate the relationships between the CDR and MoCA/FAS. The proposed study would examine factors (e.g., behavioral and sociocultural factors) potentially explaining differential dementia rates among minorities |
