| Proposed Analysis: | My project aims at studying the clearance mecanism of Tau protein from CSF to blood and how they are altered in Alzheimer's Disease using both mice model and patient post-mortem brain tissues. A recurrent question in my project is how total plasma Tau and CSF Tau concentration ratios differ in normal or AD patients and how they could evolve during the course of the disease. However, I can't get access to CSF nor plasma from patients easily. Most of the papers do not provide those ratios. By reviewing the litterature, I came across different papers where concentrations of Tau in plasma and CSF are measured in control and AD patients and available in your database. Thus, I would like to have access to your database in order to compute those ratios in control versus AD patients, their evolution in longitudinal studies and eventually if changes in those ratios correlate with disease severity. |
