| Proposed Analysis: | I will be taking over a project that a former student at my university was working on. He aimed to create a convolutional neural network that would analyze certain slices of brain MRI's at different points in a person's life to see if the physiological differences in someone's brain that may point to Alzheimer's can be identified at an earlier time or in a simple diagnostic manner. The goal of the project was and is to create a web viewer in which someone can add the image that they have and have the net predict the diagnosis. The reason that the access is required is so that we are able to train the neural net with data that has a known diagnostic state and we have enough data to properly train the net. |
