Proposed Analysis: | We want to build models of alzheimer progression that can predict individual-level disease trajectories, and distill intelligible and actionable representations of disease dynamics. The methods are (1)The attentive state-space model, a deep probabilistic model that learns accurate and interpretable structured representations for disease trajectories. (2)Neural controlled differential equation (Neural CDE) model, it is the continuous analogue of an RNN. (3)Improved version based on our demand and the ADNI dataset. |

Investigator's Name: | Jian Sun |
Proposed Analysis: | Jian Sun is the person performing the statistical analysis. Jian Sun received Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Xi’an Jiaotong University. He worked as a visiting student in Microsoft Research Asia (Nov. 2005 - March 2008), a post-doctoral researcher in university of central florida in USA (August 2009 - April 2010), and a post-doctoral researcher in willow team of École Normale Supérieure de Paris / INRIA (Sept. 2012 - August 2014). |
Investigator's Name: | Ruixia Cui |
Proposed Analysis: | Utilizing post-processing statistics that provide clinical insight by measuring the influence of each covariate on risk predictions and the temporal importance of longitudinal measurements, thereby enabling us to identify covariates that are influential for different competing risks. |
