Proposed Analysis: | I am interested in investigating the neuropsychiatric profiles of those in the significant memory concern (SMC) cohort (ADNI-2 study), relative to the cognitively normal (CN) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) cohorts. More specifically, I am curious if there are any unique symptom profiles, from a psychological perspective, that differentiate this group. I am also interested in any psychological markers that may predict conversion from SMC to MCI. To address this question, I am requesting item-level responses from the Geriatric Depression Scale and the Neuropsychatric Inventory for these cohorts. I will employ t-tests to compare the means of the groups to characterize profiles. If warranted, a logistic regression to address the predictive utility of the symptoms toward cohort classification. Baseline and longitudinal data is of interest for the GDS and NPI. I am also requesting any available demographic information, along with baseline CDR and MMSE. |
