Proposed Analysis: Although both OA and APOE4 genotype were reported to be associated with an increased risk of AD, the question that whether the presence of OA can modify the effects of APOE4 genotype on longitudinal change in cognitive performance among non-demented older people remains unclear. In the present study, we aimed to examine whether the presence of osteoarthritis (OA) interacts with apolipoprotein E4 (APOE4) genotype to influence longitudinal cognitive decline among non-demented older people.
