Proposed Analysis: | We generate anatomical networks using regional voxel-based morphometry, fdg-pet and amyloid pet from various regions across the brain in Cognitive normal elderly, and Alzheimer’s dementia and subcortical ischemic vascular dementia groups (SIVD). For this purpose, we compare group characteristic based on the partial correlation and Fisher r-to-z transformation for considering normality and comparison. We already conducted an analysis using our own data and got some results. For instance, relative to AD only group, SVID participants showed that anatomical networks were disrupted in some frontal and parietal brain regions related to major visuospatial cognitive functions. We intend to obtain the results by performing the same and further analysis using ADNI data. By doing so, we want to contribute to yielding potential clues for early detection and treatment of AD. |
