Proposed Analysis: | [Same as AIBL] There are two main research questions we are pursuing: (1) Understanding the effect of missing data on computational models of Alzheimer's Disease progression, particularly when observational data is used to build models for covariate adjustment in clinical trials. Developing methods to address this missingness. (2) Using causal methods to develop algorithms that do not learn spurious correlations. A causal framework should help tackle selection bias, image acquisition bias, and label shift. Access to a variety of AD datasets (AIBL, ADNI, ADNIDOD) will be important for us to test the generalizability of our developed methods. |
