Proposed Analysis: | Dementia is a syndrome characterized by cognitive decline, which can be caused by degeneration of the nervous system, cerebrovascular disease, trauma and so on. Dementia patients will show memory function, mental, behavioral, personality and other aspects of abnormal, mostly in the elderly, cognitive defects will affect the daily activities. Based on some previous literature, Computed Tomography(CT) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and positron emission tomography are available Biomarkers such as (PET), Electroencephalography (EEG), and Magnetoencephalography(MEG) are explored. Then, deep learning or machine learning was used to classify healthy people, people with mild cognitive impairment, and people with Alzheimer's. Based on the practical needs, we plan to carry out a study, which uses medical images, signals and other data to study the classification of healthy people, patients with mild cognitive impairment and patients with Alzheimer's disease through machine learning and deep learning methods. In order to better carry out this research, we apply ADNI data to build a classification model and evaluate the performance of our proposed model. |
