Proposed Analysis: | Hello, I am a master student pursuing MSc. Data Science from University of Aberdeen and I am working on my dissertation. My topic is "Building an effective convolutional neural network for diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease using MRI data". I am requesting to access the dataset for Alzheimer's disease(AD). To analyze the ADNI dataset, I would use the following methods and techniques: 1. Descriptive statistics: To summarize the characteristics of the sample and the variables in the dataset. 2.Machine learning algorithms: To build predictive models that can be used to classify individuals based on their clinical outcomes, such as dementia diagnosis or cognitive decline. 3.Image processing and analysis techniques: To extract information from imaging data and identify patterns that may be related to dementia. 4.Network analysis: To identify relationships between variables and understand the connections between different aspects of the disease. 5.Longitudinal analysis: To examine changes in clinical outcomes and brain structure over time. 6.Dimensionality reduction techniques: To reduce the complexity of the data and extract meaningful patterns from high-dimensional data. Kindly provide the access for the dataset for my dissertation. Below is the reference of my supervisor/professor: Romano, M. Carmen m.romano@abdn.ac.uk Sincerely, Divya Singh student ID: 52106269 |
