| Proposed Analysis: | To investigate the relationship between the structural integrity of the posterior hypothalamus and trajectories of AD-related cortical pathology (Aβ-PET, tau-PET) and neurodegeneration (cortical thickness), based on longitudinal MRI and PET data. To associate posterior hypothalamic integrity with clinical progression across AD stages, based on longitudinal cognitive assessments and clinical evaluations. To estimate age of onset of hypothalamic structural changes relative to changes in cortical tau deposition based on longitudinal modelling of both tau-PET and hypothalamic integrity. |
