Proposed Analysis: CRP and ApoE$ have detrimental effects for cognition, but in different manner. On one hand, ApoE$ is related to late onset of ALzheime'rs disease and also impact cognition at younger ages. On the other hand, CRP is related to imflammation and also, associated with lower cognition. However, carriers of the ApoE4 - a well-know risk factor for AD - have lower CRP levels. A recent hypothesis proposed a regulatory mechanism of lifetime stress responses in ApoE4 carriers that would contribute to decreases in CRP levels. Our aim is to disentangle the role of CRP-ApoE4 in cognition using several datasets and, later, investigating brain markers shared by both high CPR levesl and the ApoE4 allele
