Proposed Analysis:	We plan to develop a new algorithm for assembly of whole genome data, that is haplotype-aware. In contrast to current workflows, rather than ending the assembly with a single consensus sequence, or list of SNPs, the output from our algorithm will be haplotypes. We plan to use our new algorithm to search for new Alzheimer's disease genes. Here at BYU I work closely with Drs. John "Keoni" Kauwe and Mark Clement.
