| Proposed Analysis: | In the framework of my thesis, I have investigated the heritability of cortical structures which includes the sulci and the sulcal pits. I have estimated the heritability (variance of the phenotype explained by the additive effect of the genes) on the HCP pedigree data using SOLAR tools. For the highly heritable structures I have looked for variants (SNPs) significantly associated with these phenotypes using PLINK tools on the local IMAGEN cohort. I am looking to replicate my result on a cohort for which the genetic and imaging data are available such as ADNI. |
