| Proposed Analysis: | We are interested in investigated functional and structural connectivity of networks involved in emotional attention at prodromal and advanced stages of AD. In this perspective, we propose to compute probabilistic tractography analyses between ROIs involved in emotional attention (amygdala, pulvinar, orbitofrontal cortex, cingulate cortex, etc...) to determine fiber integrity depending on the stage of the disease. We will couple these data with resting state data to determine the network changes on structural and functional levels. Finally, assuming a particular role of the amygdala in the networks' alterations, we will correlate connectivity analyses with volumetric data to investigate the correlations between connectivity alterations and structural deterioration of the amygdala. |
