Proposed Analysis: We proposed to compare the relationship(s) among performance on a number of neuropsychological measures between ADNI and HCAP (Harmonized Cognitive Assessment Protocol), a sub study of 3,500 respondents from the Health and Retirement Study (HRS) designed to provide population monitoring of dementia prevalence in the elderly and near-elderly (age 65+) US population. Further, the presence of a diagnostic classification in the ADNI data will allow external validation and refinement of the diagnosis assignment protocol used in HCAP.
