| Proposed Analysis: | I would like to consider Alzheimer disease progression as a stochastic process. Specifically, I would use a finite-state continuous markov chain model to investigate transition probabilities (i.e. going from slight symptoms to more severe) but also analyze, the probability a subject is in a particular stage after considering some covariates that are associated with AD (e.g. demographic, and genetic variables). |
