Proposed Analysis: | In our group we develop a method to study demyelination and remyelination in Multiple Sclerosis patients in vivo using PiB PET imaging (Bodini et al., Annals of Neurology 2016). Our current method requires to compare the PiB parametric maps of each patient, obtained from kinetic analysis, with a PiB template of healthy controls. Now we are trying to simplify the method to make it applicable in clinical practice, for example using semiquantitative indices (e.g. SUVR) that do not require dynamic acquisition, or using a PiB template which was acquired with a different scanner. For these reasons, we would like to test our method using the ADNI PiB dataset to build a healthy template. |
